This being 9/11 today, there was a formal memorial service downtown at the WTC site. Trump, whether from prudence or cowardice, apparently didn't come, but went to Pennsylvania instead.

He's then criticized for his insensitive, inappropriate gestures of fist-pumping.

Critics condemned Trump Tuesday for a “lack of respect” and an “inability to feel empathy for another person’s loss” as he was photographed acknowledging supporters with the triumphant two-fisted gesture

“He can’t even take 9/11 off from being a colossal *******."

And apparently the insensitive goes all the way back.

I wonder if Trump went into a rant about thousands of Muslims dancing in the street after the towers came down. He has never walked back that lie. Funny he would not return to the place he calls home, Manhattan, on the anniversary of 9/11.

He knows that town is full of educated people who can easily see thru all his lies and who, quite frankly, want him to stay the hell away. It's too important a day to have it ruined with a clown show.

Trump would be subjected to a heckler's veto if he had gone to the memorial service in New York City and tried to speak. I don't blame him for skipping the event.

To the best of my knowledge, he has never "walked back" any lie, if that entails an admission, including the word "wrong," and an apology.

The fake news press can't even refrain from play politics and attacking President Trump on such day as this.
Nor can the leftist despisers here.

The people on that plane, everyday citizens, made one of the most difficult decisions anyone will ever be faceted with. To suggest their memorial site is a second class destination is about as low as it gets.

Everyone on that plane that prevented it from being flown into a building deserves the highest civilian award of honor for what they did. Why they haven't been nominated is a mystery when its given to entertainers and politicians far less deserving.

Are they supposed to quit doing their job because it's 9/11? Did you hear Trump say today that the response to Hurricane Maria was one of the "best of all time", even though close to 3,000 people died after the hurricane because they lacked necessary supplies and care after the storm?

He has no respect for the day and has a long history of making light of and lying about it.

Never mind the root cause of the attack, the resulting loss of freedoms brought about by the patriot act or the never ending wars, but rather lets attack trump for some percieved breach of etiquette.
Some real deep thinkers here
