Good lord folks, it had to start somewhere, and it was not clinton, bush, or obama, it was your current president trump that got the ball rolling, like it or not..... Does the left not understand what negations are and how they work? Has anyone ever been in a multimillion dollar contract negotiation, I can tell you, the signing of the contract does not happen on the first sitting...never, nope, not gonna happen....
No nobody is pissed off -- you are making stuff up in your head again. Cynical, skeptical but not pissed off.
What are the considerable measures the USA are agreeing to to make this all happen.
All of you are dancing in the streets and not sharing the details.
Anxiously waiting your very thoughtful, substnative, not personal insults
We have to wait and see...it's called negotiating.....
Have you read this 3 page thread?

It clearly states " Kim Jong Un stating he'd permanently dismantle his main nuclear complex only if the United States takes unspecified corresponding measures."
Get back to us when those unspecified measure are specified and accomplished. Until the, nothing's been accomplished!

1) It was the leaders of North and South korea talking here.
2) The 'I love Trump' nonsense aside, ain't a damn thing's been done and CANNOT be done before we at least know what those unspecified conditions are. Keep playing with the Donny doll if it makes you happy, the adults know it accomplished nothing.
3) IF you really need a morale booster go look at the inauguration photos of what the Liar in Chief labels the YUGEST crowd ever.
4) Contrary to the TOS, your thread title "Kim agrees to dismantle nukes" is deliberately misleading.

So 10 years from now when we are on the 1000th promise from Kim that he wants to make a deal -- will you still credit Trump - lol.
Kim is playing because he can. Previous administrations wouldn't have given him the world stage to perform on...without definitive action.
Trump and his cultists already tried to claim the Nobel Peace Prize and insisted that the danger of NK was over. Then they forgot about it for months. And now we're back on track for world peace. Mmmkay. Let us know when it happens for real.
North Korea has made promises before. We would be fools to not move forward cautiously.
There is really little we can do about anything related to NK. NK is obviously interested in SOME modernization and money and trade, in general...but for a small country like that, aligning with their neighbors (China, Russia, SK and eventually Japan to some degree) is all that is needed. They don't need the USA for anything much.
As far as the nukes go there may come a time when Russia or China agrees to place nukes on NK land in trade for NK getting rid of their program. NK can't really afford their plan anyway.
The world moves on and changes and Don the Con has very little to do with it other than filling the headlines and his own twitter feed.
On another note, NK would be quite stupid to give up any advantages they may have after looking at how the USA and the West treated both Ukraine and Iran. In the first case, we promised Ukraine protection if they gave up their vast number of nukes. Guess what? Now the US Government and right wing of this country approves of annexation of vast parts of the Ukraine by Russia! This would not be happening if they kept their nukes.
In the Iranian situation we had a great opportunity to slow them down vastly while societal changes occurred on their home turf. Trump threw that in the trash also.
Any world leader would have to be nutso to negotiate anything with Trump given what is going on with all the indictments, traitors, mental health issues, etc.
Same with Business. Countries and business like consistency and planning...long term. They don't want to wake up every morning to tweets expressing how Trump is going to do this and do that (which he never does anyway).
