You've got the wrong region. The US is defunding the PA/PLO/Fatah who has been paying around $350 million a year to incarcerated Palestinians/Arabs. The PA/PLO/Fatah puts payments to criminals as a primary outlay of funds and places their own citizens on the bottom of that list.

To the limited extent they may have did that in the past, they weren't acting as good Christians. I never say people who are Christians are perfect. I don't think what language is encouraged in a jurisdiction has to do with anything.
