Menendez is elected by his voters--they'll punish him if they want to get rid of him.
He is not being appointed to a lifetime position on the Supreme Court. Do you really not get that?
How about we put Kavanaugh on the ballot in November and let the voters decide if he belongs on the court? Otherwise, the current procedure is how it is handled, and it is totally irrelevant to Menendez.

Of coarse everyone forms opinions and beliefs. That's what protests are, voicing your beliefs. That's what the polls are for, voicing your beliefs. You vote on your opinions and beliefs, right or wrong.
However, believing that someone is guilty in the court of public opinion is NOT the law. That's were the courts come in. Do not dismiss a claim, no matter which side of the political spectrum it comes from. Which is why investigations MUST be done when a credible accusation is made.
