what the democrats want is to burn down the trump administration, so it doesnt matter who trump nominates for the supreme court the democrats will oppose them en masse.

The GOP Senators wisely let Rachel Mitchell do the talking (when Ford was on the stand), so the Democrats ended up being the faces of evil, pure evil.
Ford could have testified in a closed hearing in California instead of a public hearing in Washington....but the Democrats never told her, because they wanted to USE her.

After the midterms, depending what happens, Trump may not have the necessary votes to push anyone not rubber stamped by the Democratic establishment. So this is why they're dredging up high school parties - to delay delay Kavanaugh until after the mid-terms. Then, these accusations will mysteriously disappear and they will no longer be considered important.
