I heard that there are witnesses who claimed that you get violent and beat your spouse when you drink. There's no proof of it whatsoever, no evidence, no corroboration and a few hundred people have denied that anything like that actually took place but who knows?
So what are you saying? Don’t do any investigations at all and let this guy get appointed to the Supreme Court, just like that?

Trump is going to sabotage the vote for BK by making fun of Ford publicly. That should lose a few R votes for kavanaugh.

Trump is stupid like that, but the entire country should have known what to expect. He's a WWE and reality TV star who was most famous for yelling, "You're fired!!" and the like at people. This is what happens when you elect Vince McMahon or Hulk Hogan as POTUS. Get the hell over being shocked by it, that's just who the guy always was. The letter is pretty weak. You have both Ford and McLean saying that coaching never happened, so it's two against one. Plus the letter reads like a hit piece with this boyfriend throwing the kitchen sink at her with allegations of cheating, credit card fraud, etc, none of which has anything to do with Kavanaugh but is clearly an attempt to impeach her character. Why?
Finally, it's clear that Mitchell knew of the coaching story before the date on the letter. So Republicans had a dialog with the boyfriend before he wrote the letter. Highly suspicious. He's most likely getting paid for his story.
So you don't believe him at his word? Because no one can corroborate his story?! How is this any different from believing her story.... which no one will corroborate?! This letter is exactly what she is doing to Kav.
Nope, I did not ask you if he was convicted, I asked you if he was impeached? Can you not understand the difference?
Or are you saying he was not impeached? You can add he was not "fully impeached" if you'd like, but in the end, he was STILL impeached....period, end of story....
I am saying that impeachment and conviction are part of a singular process and are not separable though the right wingers who lost so badly in that affair will try to separate them.
