Kavanaugh didn't lie about it, he admitted that he enjoyed drinking, he drank when he was in college and that he still drinks today... none of which is illegal, wrong or bad. There is no pattern of aggressive or violent behavior, you're just being stupid now. Drinking is legal, even being drunk is legal.
Perhaps you should do some research before you refer to others as 'stupid'. But here's a link for you:
1. Devils triangle is not a drinking game, It refers to two men and one woman
2. Boofing is not a farting game, it's about anal sex.
3. Renate alumnius. Claiming she was just a buddy friend, when she was a target of their sexual conquest.
According to whom? All of a sudden every left leaning liberal in America is an expert on these terms when in reality, 99% of Americans had never heard of them before this trial. You're just parroting what your political leaders tell you.
It doesn't guarantee blackouts. In fact, I know people who drank so much I would have thought they blacked out, but they remembered everything. Not everyone blacks out even though the same amount could cause you or me to black out. He said he never blacked out, and I believe him.
Feel free to believe anything you want. Excess drinking prevents the formation of memories. If he was slurring, stumbling etc, then he would have crossed the line where black-outs occur. No one is immune to them after the line is crossed.
Let's put Obama's high school and college days through the same investigation as Kavanaugh is getting, and we will probably find a lot more than he wrote about in his book. And I wouldn't care one bit. People do stupid things in college, but if the rest of their adult life is exemplary we think it's wonderful that they obviously changed and learned lessons from that.
Oh, trust me, the birthers have gone through everything in Obama's past with a fine toothed comb. If there was anything there it would have turned up by now. The birthers couldn't get Obama because there was nothing there to get.
You said he lied, that comment alone is quite stupid since you're basing that on your own personal opinions and not on facts. Nobody knows who told what to the FBI, I look forward to seeing the report though.

So to the OP, yes.
That's how politics works. One side only cares about misbehaviors of the other side. It gets kind of tiresome when people don't realize that, and the axiom works both ways. Democrats only care about the bad behavior of the Republicans, and Republicans only care about the bad behavior of the Democrats.
It doesn't need to be brought up over and over and over again every time a misbehavior is pointed out by one political party as if this is an epiphany experience by an astute observer. Everyone knows it. And gets it.
And for future missing persons threads, yes on that too. The US only cares about missing pretty blond girls, not other missing people, so we can stop the obligatory comments on that when the next pretty blond girl goes missing.
The guy does not take BS sitting down. Why the hell should he?
If someone tried to smear you, somehow I do not think you would sustain a Mr. Spock demeanor.
Because as a member of the SC, you will have to deal with a lot of nonsense. You must be able to show you can handle it with a demeanor that one would expect of a Court justice.
That said, it was his words that were most thinking to me.
That bothered me, too, but I am trying to stick with the issue raised in the original post. His partisan attitude is a whole other subject, and yes, I found it chilling.
The OP is a bunch of nonsense. It's not about drinking, and he/she knows that.
