Not one Democrat objected about that behavior, but a Right leaning Judge with great reputation is not held to the same standard by the left.
Nice try, BB, but no cigar. You must have lead a sheltered life, most of us young men drank beer and smoked a little weed in HS and College. However, as usual, you are distorting the reality of what this Kavanaugh situation is about.
I know this will fall onto deaf ears, but let me point out the two reasons the Obama situation is totally different from the Kavanaugh story:
1) Obama does not lie about his youth. He will stand right up there and tell you he drank and smoked a little pot. He has admitted that many times. Kavanaugh, on the other hand, sat there and lied his ass off about his drinking and the extent to which he got blasted. It is the LYING UNDER OATH that makes him unfit to be a SCOTUS justice.
2) Obama did not molest and assault young ladies (some only 15 years old). Kavanaugh danced around every question about his behavior, and tried to convince us terms like "The Devils Triangle" were drinking games ! The man is a bold faced liar, not something we want on the Supreme Court.
So, then - why wasn't the GOP smart enough to hire someone to accuse Obama? Are republicans really that incompetent...?
The Birther/ Muslim thing was more powerful for the times.
No shortage of people continue to believe that Obama’s parents magically traveled to Kenya which, at the time, was in the tail end of a civil war, where biracial relations/ marriages were illegal and where Obama Sr had a prior wife/ family, to give birth.

He however didn't lie about it and wasn't accused of sexual assault. His election was also up to the American PEOPLE and did not involve a lifetime position.
Kavanaugh problem is not the fact that he drank beer, his problem is that he keeps telling lies under oath.
