Unstoppable: Fox News Hits 200 Months At No. 1 !!! Fox News could do better by changing some of their format.
Fox is decidedly the best as the ratings show but they could be much better.
What needs to change at Fox to make them better ?
Much of their format is a modern day reproduction of the Roman Coliseum. The various media representatives are presented like gladiators to engage in verbal combat. Often resulting in the contestants interrupting, talking over each other and cheating the viewer, who is left with no idea what was said and no intelligent debate of the issue at hand.
If they reported news and were less of an entertainment show, their ratings would probably drop because their target market isn't interested in actual news. So that suggestion is out.
One of the positives about Fox News is that they advertise which shows are conservative OPINION shows. However, they always have representatives from both the LEFT, and the right. Invariably, it often turns into a loud argument, where people are antagonistic to each other. It becomes annoying, so I rarely watch those shows anymore. I just don't want to see, nor hear the anger.
Fox is right wing has fewer competitors in the main stream category. Do they have any? Seems like you go from Fox straight into the twilight zone Breitbart and Alex Jones.
Much more competition in the left wing category. CNN, MSNBC, NYT... etc before you trail off into their twilight zone like Dailykos... with stops along the way like Huff.
Another garbage network on par with CNN. Well maybe not quite on par
They do recycle daily. The same information can span weeks of coverage.
They get fixated on an issue at the expense of other news that could be reported.

Fox is actually a left wing organization, much like other MSM, presenting some right wing opinion.
The firing of Kevin Jackson was leftwing cooperation example.

They should be more like CNN and have the creepy porn lawyer on every night. Now that's real news!
This is like bragging about how much some company has been increasing its market share in the typewriter business.
