Well, sort of -- orphaned baby elephants! Watch the video to see them come running when they know it's meal time. She gives one a huge bottle of milk that disappears in a few seconds. Sooo cute!

Then she visits a human orphanage in Kenya. Video of her dancing with kids, reading a story, more adorable African babies, even a tiny newborn. Kids gravitate toward her.

Trips like this raise awareness. I hope her visit inspires some couples to adopt those kids or contribute to an orphanage. Maybe Madonna will adopt another baby!

^^^^This. Pessimists, hate mongers, unhappy, envious creatures. No humor, nor levity.

FLOTUS trips to Africa have been standard going back to Barbara Bush.

Laura Bush made 5 trips during her husband’# second term.

All hell broke loose in some conservative circles when Michele Obama made a goodwill trip to Africa. Quite a topic on this forum.

We have come full circle and once again, most reasonable people have no issue with taxpayer funds being used for purposes of goodwill.

Here is Melania in Egypt. It looks like a Vogue shoot! She is dressed down (for her) but so chic. This portion of the trip was to support conservation efforts, so important in Egypt. Watch the last video at the bottom which has a series of clips, including a mini press conference of sorts.

The presstitutes tried to 'ambush' her with questions but, being married to Trump, she outfoxed them, scolding them for concentrating on what she wears instead of what she does. She is nobody's fool, rather a strong, intelligent, confident woman.

I did many those things while travelling throughout Africa as well (though I worked with orphaned cheetah cubs rather than elephants) - I hope she's having a joyful and meaningful experience, as I did.

And yep, when hubby and I are 100% ready to be parents, we will adopt.
