Obama and Hillary were terrible party leaders. I can still remember Obama basically being very divisive on every single issue while preaching hope to his base. Those years were completely fruitless and nothing, I mean nothing good came out of his Presidency. Hillary was just a tagalong.

Yeah, and she still got more votes. But it was not just the presidency. The GOP used the politics of grievance to take over everything. We forgot that Americans, for all their talk of inclusiveness and charitableness, are a very bigoted, cold-hearted and selfish nation of people - the boomers especially.

Meanwhile, over the last decade, voters have voted for Democrats in larger numbers in House races, Senate races and presidential races.

The reason why power goes to the Republicans is gerrymandering of House districts and the Senate is skewed towards Republican states, who have low population but still get two Senators. So, Montana, with about a million people, has the same number of Senate votes as California with 39 times the population.

Then just IMAGINE what Trump's legacy will be !

It's like the old saying ~ for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

It's utterly ridiculous - and there are fixes that we need to discuss once Democrats regain power.

I agree. As many people have said, many people voted for Trump not because they really voted for Trump but because they voted against Hillary. Those two are not the same thing.

Ugh! It kills me to say this in response to this thread, since I believe Obama is so intolerable -

Thank you Obama for your horrid presidency so much so that it caused us to have Donald Trump as President!

Obama's legacy will remain intact

asterisk * Obama was the first......

most corrupt administration

largest contributor to financing the greatest terrorist nation, Iran

covered for ISIS by calling them the JV team, allowing them to recruit, expand and murder the larger population of ME Christians and other non believers.

Obama sanctioned eric holder to falsify a warrant and judge shop to spy on journalists opposed to Obama's policies.... a chill down the spine of America and a shot at the free press.

I actually agree with this. Trump is America's collective tamper tantrum about the social progress of the Obama years.

Democrats like you are exactly why the country is setup the way it is. Preventing people like you from dominating the entire country is why each state has 2 Senators and why we have the electoral college. It's also why it takes 3/4 of the states to amend the Constitution.
