Maybe with her it's different because, you know, just because

" A photo of Joy Behar dressed as a ‘beautiful African woman’ resurfaces amid renewed attention on blackface"

"Amid a national conversation and controversy surrounding U.S. politicians pictured in blackface, “The View” co-host Joy Behar has been silent about a photo of herself now sweeping social media.

The photo, which shows the comedian dressed as what she called “a beautiful African woman,” was seen several years ago during an episode of the morning show. But after an editor from the Wrap posted a clip from the show on Twitter on Wednesday, it renewed a debate about whether Behar was expressing admiration or whether she should have faced consequences like people who have worn blackface....."

Opens just fine for me.

Whoopi hasn't been on set since this was brought back up...and her former boyfriend lefty Ted Danson famously performed in blackface at a Friars club roast of her. Bunch of goddamned hypocrites.

She fubared by using the term Black face. Blackface has a particular meaning and what Joy did was not blackface. If Kelly was going to speakon the subject she should have known that and educated about the difference.

BUT for the SJWs there is no difference anymore. It's all Blackface to them, ignoring the actual definition. Chimney Sweeps in Mary Poppins, pictures of coal miners, le sigh.

She darkened her skin and modified her hair and dress to appear as an African American, a race to which she does not belong. That’s cultural misappropriation. What’s next? Filling out her voter ID card and writing in the term African American?
