Will only add cost for Chinese crap. They will get it thru importers who bring in containers rather than direct from China.

Will still be the same amount of crap.

Oh yeah, most cheap stuff is made in China, regardless of who sells it. I’d still rather buy it from a North American distributor though. Because the NA distributor will be accountable. Happy to pay the extra money for that.

Default Trump to Stop Postage Discounts for Chinese Packages

Finally something he and I agree on. China has enjoyed a 144 year long treaty with US allowing them to ship packages to us at a steep discount. If the withdrawal from the treaty goes through, they will no longer receive these discounts, allowing American and other international retailers to be more competitive.

You don't have to. Go to "Advanced" to the right of the search bar. Toward the bottom it's always set to default which includes the Chinese garbage. You can switch it to US, North America, or items by distance to your home. I switch it to North America so I can look at Canadian items as well.
