That speaks volumes, now doesn't it.

While they refuse to answer the question, they will start thread, after thread if there is violence at the border, blaming Trump for this entire event.
It's a problem for them. Not all Democrats support illegal immigration, which is why they don't say anything.

Doesn't look like an invasion to me.

The Bay of Pigs, that was an invasion. Normandy, that was an invasion. Russian hacking, that was an invasion.

What we are seeing here is a bunch of hungry and scared people fleeing danger.

I an sure if they were Norwegians Trump would have no problem with them.
or a bunch of white supremacists marching across the border with tiki torches...I'm sure he would say some are very fine people!

There are 7000 people at the gate NOW. We don't have time to pass legislation. Too late for removing incentives or waiving e-Verify at them. They don't care. In a way I am happy it's happening. It makes politicians take sides. Have you heard a peep from a single Democrat? One of them couldn't hold back his rage any longer and said "it's a difficult situation."

What benefit do the democrats think they have with open borders, they have been very clear, they see these people as their future voters.

They are using these people to turn once red states, blue.

They also get more representation in congress with the increase of population of the blue states.
Utter BS !

To answer your question, the proper thing any country can do is to hear these people's cases and accept those who truly will be in harms way if we send them back. Assimilate them and educate them so they become productive members of our society. THAT's the humane thing to do, but it's clear that being humane is something you have no concept of...
They aren't refugees. If they really just wanted to "escape" from Honduras they could stay in Guatemala, or somewhere in the 1,500 miles of Mexico they'll need to cross. They want to come and leech off the US. According to the left Mexico is a great place full of good, honest, hardworking people so there is no need for these Honduran refugees to continue past Mexico, they should be seeking asylum in Mexico if all they really want is an escape from Honduras.

Maybe YOUR ancestors were fleeing a dangerous country looking for asylum when they came to America, but mine weren't. They LEGALLY immigrated to the land of opportunity without looking for a handout.

Mexico doesn't want them.

No, it's not a problem for democrats at all. They aren't in charge so they can't really do anything. It could very well be a problem for republicans depending on how they handle this.

I would support the right of any oppressed person to approach the US border and request asylum. And if the person has a good case we should admit them.

Do i support admitting 5,000 people in a caravan? Of course not. Deal with them kindly and gently...hear their stories and let those with the appropriate ones into the US. Send the rest home.

We will of course not be able to deal with them appropriately due to the over load on our immigration system driven by the huge number of illegals present in the US.

What to do? Reduce the number to something we can handle. The only way to do that is obvious. But we will likely let the problem drag on a few more years before we break down and do the obvious.

Ohh and yes we will blame our screwed up system on the immigrants and George Soros. Neither of which had anything to do with the mess we have created by our own hand.

I'm really worried about this. We've never had anything like this. I am hearing reports that the group has grown to 10K, and likely to grow as another listmate stated. This cannot end well for anyone--not the citizens of the US and certainly not the travelers. This must be the collateral damage Pelosi was talking and shrugging about.

Some will get through or around and we will round up and deport. If the migrants show violence on our troops it will only hurt their cause.
You do realize the military would have to do this on the Mexican side of the border if Mexico let's them, right?
