A shooting that killed two victims at a Louisville-KY Kroger grocery store seems to have been lost in all the news of the last week. It has now come to light that this incident was a likely hate crime. Gregory Bush has been accused of shooting to death two African-Americans at the store after he apparently was unable to get into a nearby predominately black church.
A person waiting for his wife out in the store parking lot said he heard gunshots and grabbed his revolver. As he crouched down, he said he saw the gunman walk "nonchalantly" by with a gun by his side. Harrell said he called out to ask what was going on, and the gunman replied: "Don't shoot me. I won't shoot you. Whites don't shoot whites."
No coverage? Or no 75-page thread revolving around it here on City-Data? I was aware of this story and following it on the day it happened. It grabbed my attention because I have friends who live in the general area, and I wasn't sure exactly where the Kroger was located.

Especially interesting because the story was covered by USA Today and a few others but not CNN, not MSNBC and a few others and it was racially motivated serial murders.
But hey, at least if a white woman calls the cops on a black BBQ or says something racist to a nail salon owner it will be all over their front pages.
The guy has a biracial child, along with black ex-wife who a protective order against him, going back to 2009. He reportedly has mental health issues. He tried to break into a predominantly black church first but it was locked. I would not be surprised to discover that church is attended by his ex-wife or her family and someone there helped her keep away from him.
There are all kinds of nuts on this Earth, not all have a political agenda.

If the killer had mental health issues, what the hell was he allowed to own a gun?
