I'm OK with that too - the court clarifying the amendment. EOs relate to implementation of acts of Congress. An EO such as Trump suggests clearly is out of the scope of law enforcement and the powers of the executive. Lower courts will reject it and I don't think the SC would even take it up. Of course, we will see if Trump even does this or he is just spouting off for the midterms.

Not that Trump gives a damn about the constitution, mind you.
Supreme Court may decide that.
We'll let you know.

So the strict Constitutionalists who deride judicial activism now support the usurpation of the legislature because of the nature of the issue? I get the impression that the welcoming or rejection of judicial activism is very issue specific. How principled.

I guess he will kick out all of those Russians that stay in his properties while they are waiting to deliver.

Yes, it was.
And it proved to be true. Executive Orders issued by Obama were easily reversed. Now it will be up to Democrats to reverse the new Executive Order that enforces American sovereignty.

Good luck with ever getting elected to anything if a Democrat repeals that!

No, Trumps parents had naturalized before he was born.

PLEASE stop with the historical inaccuracies, people.

What cons do not think about is if Trump thinks (or could) EO over ride the constitution, then he could EO over the 2nd amendment or anything else. It would in fact make him a dictator to do anything he wants.
