From Forbes we actually see some rationality ref guns.........how refreshing since NO ONE in the TV media ever reports fairly on this..........and the irony of all the elites wanting gun control are almost universally protected by ARMED guards themselves..........

One problem though, is it not referring to fully automatic guns. The 'taboo' on them really needs to change.

If you or I want to own or carry a full auto gun,(even a full auto handgun) unless we go thru the insanely restrictive and almost impossible license process, we are essentially criminals!!

The liberals end game for gun control is to disarm law abiding citizens. They just use these shootings as their basis for reasoning because it resonates with their younger voters, and they care not about any positives that come with responsible gun ownership. Criminals will always have access to weapons and they know this. Once guns are stripped from all law abiding citizens, we will see more and more scenes like the one that played out the other day at Tucker Carlsons house. When the radical left knows they are not in danger of lethal force, they will become much more vicious. The only other issue more important to liberals than abolishing the 2nd Amendment is to have full open borders. Combine those two things occurring and you can see where we are headed as a nation.

Firearms are like a lot of technology: they can be used for good or ill intentions. Putting at-times necessary sanctions on the who/what/where/when/why/how of usage is something that should be bipartisan, depending on the circumstances.

They need to ban pressure cookers, cars, airplanes and the internet. You can deal harm to larger amount of people with those.

When Obama gave the CDC $10,000,000 to study gun violence

Here are some key findings from the CDC report, “Priorities for Research to Reduce the Threat of Firearm-Related Violence,” released in June:

1. Armed citizens are less likely to be injured by an attacker:

2. Defensive uses of guns are common: "...more than 3 million per year…"

3. Mass shootings and accidental firearm deaths account for a small fraction of gun-related deaths, and both are declining:

4. “Interventions” (i.e, gun control) such as background checks, so-called assault rifle bans and gun-free zones produce “mixed” results:

5. Gun buyback/turn-in programs are “ineffective” in reducing crime:

6. Stolen guns and retail/gun show purchases account for very little crime:

7. The vast majority of gun-related deaths are not homicides, but suicides:

Just read a summary on that from Washington Post. Man, you could tell that reporter really didn't want it to say what it said.

A man with a gun is a citizen. A man without a gun is a subject.

I heard that today on the radio from a conservative Jew who criticized liberal Jews who were anti-gun, saying the Holocaust would never have happened if Jews had been armed. He had a point.

Wait until you cite the FBI UCR data, for firearm related homicides.
And show states that went to may issue to shall issue to constitutional carry, and how the murders diminished.
Then the argument is.
Correlation is not Causation.

Wait until you show them the CDC data for accidental/negligent deaths.
So much for that theory that Muh Childrunz is bullet magnets and folks just leave loaded and chambered firearms all about.

Everything the media has said and that every town has said was a lie or severely embellished?
