Interesting, how in NYC and San Francisco stores are closing and realtors are having issues renting them at high prices and with high minimum wages.

Love how in San Francisco they want to remove social interaction from shopping and restaurants.

Who really wants to sit on a subway in NY while people blow snot all over the place, have mental breakdowns of incoherant rants and where few make eye-contact with anyone else.

I guess who wants to smell poop, urine and vomit while on the patio of a pretentious white-table cloth restaurant.

I guess very few retail stores are left with restaurants taking their place in some cases, but many of those big city "avacado toast" restaurants will likely start closing their doors when minimum wages of $15+ an hour cause go on for years and when there is another recession.

Will be interesting when empty, failed, pretentious, yuppie restaurants start failing one right after another, just like the small stores of the past have.
