Trump has e-verify in his 2019 budget. He has reinstated the work place raids that Obama ended. He's trying to do away with the Dreamer nonsense. He wants the wall completed. If you think it's only the Republicans who like the cheap labor then you're not dealing in reality.

What did the Democrats do about illegal immigration when they were in control? I have news for you, even in our Republican controlled congress there has to be some Democrats on board to pass legislation and there many RINO's in congress also that oppose everything that Trump tries to do.
You’re the only poster laying blame at the feet of only one party. Literally everyone else is pointing out that both sides are culpable, so the entirety of your post makes no sense in context.

Suckers.
The suckers are the lefty, liberals that would rather continue to pay the over $100 billion a year for the costs of illegal immigration rather than paying for the one time cost of a $25 billion wall.

Trump never said that Mexico would write a check for the wall and I have posted a link several times denoting how he can make Mexico pay.

But you know the $100 billion number is false. It has been pointed out to you many times. Yet you ignore those posts and keep posting the same lie. I can’t imagine advocating for a position that is so pathetically weak that I would have to repeatedly post lies to support it. It must be hard to be so wrong, yet so committed, that you’re compelled to resort to such tactics.

Trump’s border wall to begin construction in February

Sure, it will! And Mexico will pay for it!
(Trump couldn't even get Congress to agree to pay for the Wall, even when he had control of both the Senate and the House.)

You’d have a point if you weren’t lying about the $100 billion number to begin with.

Do you people ever get tired of lying? Changing the subject, shucking and jiving every time you lose an argument?
Why are we paying for it then? Maybe he could wait until he gets enough money from Mexico. That would be the correct thing to do.

Exactly. If he could find enough money to finance the Wall, instead of expecting the American Tax Payers to share the burden of financing it, most people wouldn't have a problem with. (Although I could argue I think there are more effective ways to address the problem, and many think that the wall is a waste of money. But then again, so are things like the "Space Force".)

Chain link? That's what we have now and it's not working. Why do you oppose the wall already approved by congress back in 2006? Shouldn't congress fulfill their promise and fund it? Where that type of wall has been built on shorter sections of the border it has been very effective in deterring illegal entry.

WASHINGTON
An effort to mandate that every employer use a system to check that their employees are working in the country legally was rejected by House leaders Tuesday — a strong signal that those pushing immigration reform do not believe it has enough support to be passed as part of a comprehensive immigration bill.
