ABC news this morning had a graphic up that said, "Shooter had an illegal high-capacity magazine that allowed him to shoot more than 10 bullets at once."

Idiots. At least research and understand what you are reporting.

Im seeing some people on FB saying it was an UZI, not a Glock handgun.

I imagine with all the chaos, people get confused on the type of gun they saw.

How would you shoot more than 10 bullets at once? I want one of those.

Even if it was an UZI, a California legal Uzi still only has 10 rounds, shoots once per trigger pull, has a fixed stock and a long rifle barrel. It's not grand daddy's Uzi.

isn't any pro gun group labeled right wing?

gosh what do you call a democrat who is pro gun?????????

so CA passes the law to reduce mags to 10 rounds.

Do you think in your wildest liberal dreams the guy who shot up the bar would have considered that, oooops! I can't kill people using a 15 round mag! Duh!!!! Okay I'lll go search out some legal capacity mags and then I shoot em up.

We are awash in 'assault weapons and mags holding more than 10 rounds.... and no one is killing anyone.

Suggest you look elsewhere for a solution to a very complex social problem. Bumper sticker proposals do not stop the bleeding.

Half azed proposals past the point of no return cost innocent lives. So why offer up mag cap limits? I know to whittle away at gun ownership until achieving a state of no guns, no gun violence! it will be worth sacrificing innocent lives to achieve that theoretical goal sometime in the very distant future.

Stop with the one solution legislation! you are killing people!

From what i understand, an UZI is full auto (continuous fire), and some are very small, but can accept longer magazines.

Gun nuts are not high on that "nuance" stuff.
If you had listened to a witness at the shooting, he was able to change his magazine in seconds, so it wouldn't have mattered, either way. Anti-gun nuts are not high on that "nuance" stuff.
