Already rather flaky, he came unglued at the whipping he took from the voters on Tuesday. He got the message that we really don't like him. For a narcissist that takes a while to assimilate.

He said he doesn't know Matt Whitaker yet a month ago he said he knows him and he is a great guy. Does Trump have dementia?
Very hard to tell with him. Trump certainly seems demented to me, but he has reversed himself so many times, that I believe it is just a strategy. Say what he believes people want to hear at any particular moment. He thinks (and may be right) that his supporters won't notice. On the other hand it's not unlikely that he has some serious memory issues.
