He's just plain bored. Knows zero history. Has zero empathy. WWI has enormous significance for the Europeans - both WW's do. WWII completely altered the fabric of society in GB and elsewhere.
Once again, he shows no respect for the office he holds. He clearly believes he's better and above all the European leaders with whom he is forced to mingle. This is not a peer group of which he wishes to be a part. In his eyes, his peers are billionaires. Anyone else can go pound sound. Putin, of course, fits - because he's robbed his country blind - worth $200 billion - all accumulated honestly, of course.
I enjoyed how today he celebrated Veterans Day by not going to Arlington or Walter Reed (after being busy not going out in the rain in France) AND also disenfranchising the serving military vote in Florida, which could now be counted in time for that ongoing election count. What a true "supporter of the troops."

Right. Trump hates the military. That's why he spent a fortune to increase their pay, gave them new military equipment (after Obama let everything decay) and why Trump improved the Veterans Administration which had been butchering vets or killing them with neglect for years.
