Right, it's never positive with him. Threatening, bullying, personal attacks, unnecessary criticisms, self-aggrandizing, hatefulness - it's all he does. He is not a man, not an adult. He never left the prepubescent playground. As soon as he is not perceived as he wants to be by another around him, he finds a way to eliminate them. It's no surprise that he gets no respect from intelligent, rationally-minded adults.

This is not even about being an adult. There are teenagers and kids who understand that it is wrong to be a bully. President Trump has a bully's mentality, period. His mentality is not respectable among most persons of intelligent, rational-minded individuals. However, even among that subset, there are those who try to make excuses for him. Some persons who are otherwise decent-minded individuals who find his behavior reprehensible, but try to excuse it by saying "well, he means well, he just isn't polished". However, some of his most staunch supporters actually like his mentality. Some look at it as "he doesn't take any crap from anyone", as a way to justify his bully-like mentality.
