Never mind all this development in arid areas that have seen wildfires for eons. And the fact that we just keep adding fuel for the fires. You haven’t met dumb until you met California dumb.

I don't believe it is. The OP pooh-poohs the concept of GW, implying it's a fabrication by leftist extremists.

Ask yourself this....who manages the federal forest areas in California? Notice the word "Federal" in there?

The worst fires in California start on Federally managed land:

Trump is literally tweeting about his own failure as a leader, and he is too dumb to realize it.

TELL ME ABOUT IT!

No tornadoes
No floods.
No droughts.

The hellish summer of 1936 and the Dustbowl are fake news.

Trump is a failure. He's a homicidal sociopath too.

Still doesn't change the fact that wildfires are exacerbated by State interference regardless of level of government.

All this with still no proof of any connection between man's activities and the climate change we have been seeing for the last 500,000 years or so.

The liberals just can't get the facts to line up with their cherished theories, so as usual they simply stand up and announce their theory is correct. Man has caused whatever they're seeing, and man can change it back. With massive intrusion from government, of course, massive taxation, and huge amounts of new regulation.

So now the latest panic issue is that the California wildfires are man's fault.

They might have something there, of course: Libera environmentalist whackos have block forest management for years, leaving years of dead wood, choking underbrush, and dry tinder in place. No firebreaks allowed, no cleared areas to stop the advance of wildfires, etc.

But somehow Governor Moonbeam forgot to mention those things. No, it's all the so-called "climate deniers" fault.

Climate change is propelling California’s fires, governor says

by Adam Ashton

Updated 2 hours 6 minutes ago

Gov. Jerry Brown on Sunday said wildfires like the ones spanning the state today threaten “our whole way of life” and lend urgency to efforts that would slow the impacts of man-made climate change.
Caused by? Not necesarilly.

Exacerbated by? Certainly.

And that's actually what he said.

What's the matter with you?

Wildfires have been becoming worse around the globe, and yes it is a trend which correlates with global warming.

Greater in number, greater in intensity, more widespread.

Get your head out of that dark space it calls home …

Wildfires in Europe

Wildfires in Siberia

Wildfires in Australia

Wildfires far to the north

It wasn't just Jerry Brown that said that climate change is intensifying forest fires in California.

In fact, I found this USDA report from back in 2004 that predicts that climate change will cause increased forest fire activity. Here we are, 14 years later and - surprise! surprise! - it is happening just as predicted:

https://www.fs.usda.gov/treesearch/pubs/50065

So put that in your pipe and smoke it......

Further, there is plenty of evidence for why a greater concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere generates an increase in the greenhouse affect, warming the planet.

The only people who reject scientific reality in this matter are those who chose to make it a political issue when Al Gore got involved in communicating the facts about it.
Al Gore wanted a carbon tax so he can make tons of money.
