Though I don't agree with De Niro, and find his political views moronic, I still watch his movies. My favorite movies are one's Robert De Niro stars in.
Unlike so many now, I don't throw a tantrum and swear off a person just because I disagree with their politics.

Robert De Niro also lashed out at President Trump’s supporters, stating he has “people who follow him who are crazy and want to do crazy things.”
“Trump has people who follow him who are crazy and want to do crazy things. What we’re doing in film, it’s like a dream. We know it’s not real,” the 76-year-old judged. “There are people who will take anything to be real and that we have no control over.”
“The president is supposed to set an example of trying to do the right thing. Not be a nasty little *****. Because that’s what he is. He’s a petulant little punk,” he fumed. “There’s not one thing that I see in him or his family, not any redeeming qualities. They’re out on the take. It’s like a gangster family.”
His father Sr passed at 71. Jr is now 75. You would think he would be more cautious and take care of his health. Instead Robert continues to rant like a lunatic unchecked. This can't end well if he doesn't get his emotions in control and soon. Four more years For Trump In 2020 could well be the final death blow for Robert.
He is not nasty.....a bit abrupt in his manner perhaps.....
Sounds like something my southern grandma would say about our rude racist great uncle.
