I would like to think our country took a risk with him and realize our country has lost it's core values with him as president. To make that mistake again will destroy us.

Lost our core values ? You mean like being pro illegal alien and open borders .

In CA the liberals are always talking about that being “our values “

Not all liberals think alike.

I consider myself somewhat liberal. I deal with partial left and partial right of my family. But when it comes to the right my family comes up with some racist undertones.

Like why are some of them hating on Armenians? Many I met are good folks. We are Mexican by decent, but we hate the influx of them when they hated the influx of us? eff outta here!.

No I'm not pro illegal. But I bought tacos from the guy in the truck, fruit from the guy in the corner. Because they're hustling. And I'm not gonna impede over another mans's survival.

IDK about open borders but Trump's wall seems ridiculous since he bounced around who is gonna actually pay for it.

Like "Well no ** buddy, of course Mexico is giving you the finger".

He talked a good one and got folks on his side that loved what he said. Now he's gotta prove it. This wall is either gonna be the the insanely Deus ex Machina to our problems as a nation or the dumbest monument we'd have to embarrassingly explain to our kids..

"well you see son, Mexicans do not only climb walls..."..

Ringo1;I agree with DeNiro 100%. Tired of all this breathless polling and interviewing of Trump supporters. There's no deep meaning; no it wasn't just the 'working class' that voted for the imbecile moron.
They are fools - many of which have realized what a yuge mistake they made in pulling the lever for him.

I disagree lilyflower. I think the Dem candidates need to double down and go hard on Ringo1's message in 2020.

Are you saying that the Dem Candidate should Campaign with the message that all those Trump supporters/Conservatives are a bunch of fools and we don't need them or their votes and We're going to take over and push the aside?

I worked side by side with illegals when I worked construction, and came to realize that they aren't the heinous monsters that the right paints them to be. The ones I worked with were nice guys just trying to make a living, and earning much more than they did in Mexico

Of course these people are nice. They are also known to be hard workers and we know they are only trying to making a living. But you want us to just ignore that they are here illegally. Why can't they work together against their own corrupt gov't?

On another note, why is it the left will defend people who broke the American law over good hard working American citizens.

Years back I was talking to a guy from Venezuela. He was a strong supporter of socialism and his socialist gov't. I remember him saying yea, the rich should be taxed more (I remember thinking ya that won't happen because the rich make the rules).

But now the normal course of socialism is taking place, people are suffering (shortages of food, simple things like toilet paper, medication, jobs etc), they want to come here. The problem is even though their gov't failed they'll still bring their beliefs and mindset with them, they allowed their gov't to become this way and that's why Democrats want them.

I'd speculate DeNiro is out of touch with the common man.
But the man who sits on toilets made of gold is? Come on.
