Several dead and dozens injured at a historic and famous Christmas market in Strasbourg, France near the border of Germany this evening. French police arrested suspect, Chekatt Cherif, 29 year old born in France of second generation North African immigrants. He was on the country’s terrorlist in fear of being radicalized.

Apparently the suspect was born there in Strasbourg, and was identified as a security threat previously. The police actually went to his place to arrest him but he was not there, prior to him shooting at the crowd.
Who else would do it seriously if not Islamic radicals?! Nothing new.
I’ll wait for confirmation from real news sources other than a CD thread that only says he’s French, or from a site called “jihadwatch”.
He hasn’t been captured yet, I don’t know why you reported it as such.
It’s only going to perpetuate hate from both sides of people needlessly jump to conclusions. All that’s being reported at this moment is that an extremist has carried out a terror attack on several unfortunate victims. My condolences go out to their families, especially at this time of year.
Don't they have some very strict gun laws? I'm starting to believe gun laws just don't really help.
