Wasn't Pelosi a member of congress when the wall was approved back in 2006? Congress shouldn't be obligated to follow through on legislation they passed?
Please show me where congress approved a $60 billion dollar coast to coast wall in 2006? I'll wait.
Good, shut the SOB down and let Trump suffer. He knows he is a toothless tiger in this fight, the last thing he needs is more turmoil in an already upside down administration.
Glad to see the Democrats are gaining strength and flexing their muscles !
Whoa, hold on there. Just a few short years ago the left cried about how bad and how wrong it is to cause a government shutdown. So which is it?
Please show me where congress approved a $60 billion dollar coast to coast wall in 2006? I'll wait.
They didn't! They approved a 700 mile long wall along the most porous areas of our border and that's all we need. The cost is estimated at $25 billion. Trump no longer is insisting on a wall along our entire border but the wall approved under the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
Nothing should be authorized and approved by Trump the mob boss. He has mob contractors waiting to get their slice of the pie. Trump is a con. I guess Mexico is standing their ground. They aren't paying for a wall. GOP should have the guts to take a stand against Trump too.
Umm, the DOTARD is. He promised that Mexico would pay for it and then claimed he was the ultimate deal maker and yet he still cannot get his stupid wall even though Repugs own all three branches.
Many Republicans won't back Trump on anything so the GOP being in control means nothing. There has to be some Democrats on board and they oppose everything Trump tries to do also. Now the GOP isn't even in control of the House.
Stupid wall? It's not Trump's wall but the wall approved under the Secure Fence Act back in 2006 by a bi-partisan congress.
As for Mexico paying for it, it's not over till the fat sings but we need the funds up front right now to get it started. Even if the taxpayer has to pay for it the $25 billion wall is much cheaper than the over $100 billion a year that illegal aliens cost us.
Most Americans don’t want government shutdown over wall funding
No surprise it’s mostly along partisan lines, with only Republicans thinking he should hold firm on his $5 billion demand for a border wall, and Democrats and Independants believing it is not a high priority.
Just more BS from the left, trump gave them double what they wanted last time and they choked....they'll choke again and show they care more about illegals than Americans.
