It is amazing how quickly the left goes from wanting the internet to be neutral, and wanting government to stop private-companies from discriminating... To Google and Facebook should be able to do whatever they want since they're private-businesses.
Net Neutrality covers the ISP. With Net neutrality in place what that guarantees is you will get equal access to content providers like youtube.com, infowars.com, fox.com, cnn.com etc.
How those content providers run their own services whether it's Youtube or Infowars is up to them.
Why that move then Alex Jones to Google CEO reminds me of that clip where Andrew Breitbart errr...chat (well, if we could call that a "chat") with John Podesta?

The point I was trying to make is, "the left" has long been opposed to "discrimination" by "private-business". They generally do not believe that businesses have a right to "deny service" to people they don't like. And they have generally been in favor of regulation on businesses who try to restrict access, often claiming certain services are "essential services" and should be defined as "public utilities". Not only businesses which are monopolies, but rather, any business that dominates any market(google is 90% of internet searches).
And likewise, it was always "the right" who has been in favor of private-businesses being able to do whatever they wanted.
So I thought it was a bit ironic that it is "the right" who is suddenly demanding private-companies be regulated by the government, and "the left" is defending the right of "corporations" to do whatever they want.
So, the question I was trying to raise was whether or not "the left" would feel the same way if Google and Facebook were censoring left-wing speech instead of right-wing speech. Or if in fact, both the left and the right are full of hypocrites, who only want what they want, and don't have any principles whatsoever?
