Mueller is a Special Counsel conducting an investigation, an investigation that is still ongoing. Mueller doesn't owe him a damn thing.
Rudy is an attorney and he knows how this all works. Him trying to do damage control is futile because when Mueller drops the report and the American people see it, Trump is toast.

Trump sent tweet out at 10:37 am about how he was in the Oval Office waiting for the Democrats to show up and vote for his wall.
But as there was no Marine guard standing watch in the lobby of the West Wing as always happens when the POTUS in the Oval Office, it was pretty clear that Trump was not in the Oval Office.
And if he was waiting for the Democrats to show up and vote for his worthless wall, he was three days too early.
Wonder if the pay-to-play folks waiting for him at Mar-a-Lago tonight will be satisfied with a tweet saying Trump was there?

President Donald Trump on Monday defended his long-promised border wall a day after outgoing White House chief of staff John Kelly said plans for a solid concrete structure were ditched early on in the administration.
"An all concrete Wall was NEVER ABANDONED, as has been reported by the media," Trump tweeted. "Some areas will be all concrete but the experts at Border Patrol prefer a Wall that is see through (thereby making it possible to see what is happening on both sides). Makes sense to me!"
