This is why they're such a big political divide in America. Too many people believe the extreme hype about the opposing party.

The outrage machine generates more clicks. More clicks generate more revenue.

Thanks Captain Obvious.

In other stunning commentary, the sky is blue.

Kidding, you're totally right but I'm not sure what the answer is..for people to stop being so stupid?

It is the Democrats that like to put people into boxes. If you are not a victim of something then you must be a racist, a woman hater, and against this and that and all things decent.

The Democrats label people and the Lefty media perpetuates it. Evidence of this can be seen from the border crisis where the media choose to show the woman and children but left out the men which the caravan was mostly made up of?

It is easy to persuade a public that does not look much beyond the headlines that Trump is an ogre that would eat immigrant children.

There is a saying in the news industry that "if it bleeds it leads" and as we have seen recently they are willing to draw blood for a story.

Actually, since 1933, both partisan parties have been communist - as in opposed to private property ownership.

When government can TAKE from one to GIVE to another, without paying just compensation, private property ownership is kaput.
As to racism, that's a well beaten dead horse. It's obvious that anyone who disagrees with the politically correct minions is a racist, regardless of their prejudices and discriminatory abilities.

The irony is that the power of the politically correct and the socialist takers is rooted in voluntary participation in FICA. When sufficient numbers withdraw consent, the People's Democratic Socialist Republic will collapse, lacking sufficient revenue and subjects to rule.

I've learned some things on C-D from people with whom I disagree. It happens.

I won't stop posting threads like this. It might wake some people up.

The bottom line is -- and I've said it before a hundred times -- people place far too much trust in the media. It is so easy to manipulate a person's opinion of an argument by subtle tweaks in wording. It is possible to have a 100% factually correct statement while adjusting the wording in ways to change a person's opinion one way or another.

- Armed robber pulls gun on cop and innocent shoppers inside 7-11, cop proceeds to shoot robber dead. No other people were injured.

vs.

- White cop shoots black man inside 7-11, proving once again, America has a long way to go to eliminate racism.

Both statements have factually correct elements (i.e. homicide inside 7-11), yet the takeaways are entirely different.

This is where freedom of the press becomes a problem. IMO, all news articles should be entirely objective and void of any author interpretation. If the author does choose to interpret, then they should be required to clearly mark the article as an 'opinion' piece, with a disclaimer to the reader that the wording in the article reflects the author's opinion.

I think your making the point. Some opinion anchor makes a stupid comment and you conflate that view point to the entire party? Epic Fail

Thanks for helping me make my point.

Not all Republicans.
Not all Democrats.
