Alec Baldwin is a liberal icon? I thought he was just a self-involved jerk who happens to do a good Trump impression.

I keep reading this^^^^^^ (expletive deleted). I am a Democrat, and becoming a Republican in not an option. The Democratic party that I grew up with is disappearing. It is evolving into a left-wing pinko socialist abomination. It is not 'liberal' anymore. Real liberals believe in free speech, American pride, Judeo-Christian values, and American pride.

The slaughter of Native Americans, slavery, Japanese internment, Vietnam. Every hateful, misogynistic, racist notion, intertwined w our better nature, Trump embodies those. He is us. Now we can face it + exorcise it,” Alec Baldwin said.

I think Alec baldwin is entitled to his own opinion. This said please fight your own battle and stop using people who actually have had relatives interned as a tool to push a political agenda.

Some of us do not blame or care.

This said I am sure Mr. Baldwin is a compassionate person who cares, but people like him need to realize that he doesn't speak for all of us. Blaming is never the answer.

Funny because a lot of those things he mention ed happened under the power of Democrats. Guess he is too busy punching people in parking lots and calling them gay slurs
Both things are part of the many horrors Democrats committed on the people of America, that the Democrats have never apologized for.
Republicans fought them the whole way.

Blaming Republicans for every horror the Democrats committed.

Alec Baldwin doesn't know history or rather doesn't want you to know. He's perfect for NBC.

People read waaay more into this than necessary. SNL also did skits on Obama. Its just tv. But when its gets to some one like Trump. Who can dish it out and not take it. Its even better.

Nonsense.

If anyone said anything like this about Obama, the left and MSM would immediately fire them, tear them apart on social media, call them a racist, and black list them from ever appearing in the media again.

Alec Baldwin was perhaps punishment for not giving women the right to vote until 1920.

My answer to these kind of Hollywood types is: Hollywood is a bastion of income inequality, with hordes of dirt-poor aspiring actors, and a small number of super-rich success stories like Baldwin.

Why don't we pass a 'Hollywood Income Parity Act.' Those like Baldwin only get to keep, say, $60,000 of his annual income. The rest to be distributed to all the starving aspirants. That'd be the liberal thing to do, right?

Because it gives cons something to whine about to deflect from that failure of a trump.
