"WASHINGTON – Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie said Friday that he has begun forming a plan to cut the agency’s budget as President Donald Trump requested during a Cabinet meeting last month."
As with any government agency there is always a lot of waste and fraud. Why would anyone assume that Trump is making cuts where it's not necessary? Anything to demonize him though, right?
Yes I'm sure the VA which is already under funded and under staffed is going to do just great with further budget cuts.
All because of Trump tax cuts, during a time we didn't need further stimulus. Enjoy the Trillion dollar + deficits and cuts for VA funds. Its like trying to pay for a Lambo with pennies you find on the street.

Cutting the dead wood no doubt. Trump runs a lean organization. Plenty of Fed union employees taking up space. Now that the organization is being updated with the latest computer goodies, jobs can be eliminated. Happens in every company these days. I'll bet a lot of those were Obama's pretend jobs so he could claim unemployment was lower.

Didn't you hear Trump say yesterday that one thing he couldn't forgive Obama for was allowing the military to fall into disrepair which left him to build it back up again.
Actually I think the Pentagon is being audited. Rings a bell but can't remember details at the moment.

Actually, I don't think the VA should be providing benefits to anyone who is not retired and left the armed forces in full health.
That was me. I served from 1962 til 1971. Combat vet. Healthy. Not interested in VA benefits.
