I remember when I was younger (the fifties) and one of my Aunts was going to get an operation. I would ask 'what is she getting an operation for? I would be hushed and told ''Female'', and that was the end of the conversation. Boom, right there! Well, nowadays there is no telling what you will hear, and/or see on TV. When I was a kid, the Sears catalog was the closest thing I ever got to Porno. Am I the only one who is just a little overwhelmed by the ''Information Age?''
As a baby boomer (b. 1953) I am not overwhelmed by information, age or otherwise, because I choose not to be. But if I were a parent, yow.
The first use of any communication technology seems to be porn. I remember watching TV after years of not having one, and seeing virtually nude people writhing in bed on a daytime soap opera, and remember being truly startled.
LOL. Yes, now we can say things like hysterectomy, and period and such. Men are in the delivery rooms, and they.... gasp.... pick-up tampons for their wives and GFs.
And yes, there is a LOT of porn.

Right now I think about thirty percent of internet traffic is porn. I remember reading a few years ago that it was over 50%, so take that for what’s it worth.
of course, virtual reality is getting better and cheaper.
soon enough, consumer-friendly robots will be everywhere.
the need for better battery technology is what is holding up most projects.

I remember my dad taking the Sears Catalog into the bathroom.
When and why did people ever become ashamed of their sexuality? How the hell do they think we all got here?
