You know, like announcing via Tweet that he's pulling out all the troops from Syria without even informing his Chiefs of Staff or our allies across the region.

That's what idiots who have no business leading do. Mattis is not like Trump. He knows his responsibility and he takes it seriously. Unlike Trump, who treats the presidency like a season on The Apprentice.
The department will be fine in the hands of deputy Shanahan who is ready to serve as SECDEF from day 1; that's literally a part of his job description when he was confirmed as deputy.

every position in the executive branch are temps., nothing is permanent,,,,you could be there for 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months or 36 months.

if one goes out there is always a big bench to select for replacement....nothing new here....the earth will continue to rotate and the sun will come out in the morning.

Clearly that poster DOES see...

It's deliberate on Trump's part. He loves chaos and disorder. It's what he thrives on and what gives him power.
So Trump get's exactly what he wants. Confusion, chaos and a total government breakdown, while the rest of the world's leaders wonder what baseball bat, to the side of the head, is coming next from America?

So the sun will rise, as you say, but it will rise over a land of chaos, disorder and confusion, all deliberately created by Trump.

^ LOL. As we see (almost daily) in THIS WH this is NOT the case. Not by a long shot.

It really makes me wonder what kind of childhood Trump had and what his mother was like. I have heard his father was tough and sent Trump off to military school. But there has to be more. I wish his sister and brother would give interviews.

Most people do not like chaos, but Trump does. Odd personality trait.

Why would we care whether Putin would like it or not? Putin wouldn't like us nuking Syria either - so should we do that?

What does the US gain from staying in Syria and continuing Obama's policy of arming and assisting "moderate rebels" that ended up being Al Qaeda and ISIS?

Trump is also reducing troops in Afghanistan that he inherited.

This was applauded by those on the left:

This will turn out as messy as the tariff wars, tax cuts to the wealthy, plunging stock market and increased national deficit. None of those are turning out in Individual 1's favor. The border wall and healthcare reform will be a mess too. Judges overturning his ridiculous asylum standards. White House high turnover rate since real leaders can't stand to work with him because he wants a "yes" person. Nikki Haley made a clean getaway. All this in 2 years folks. Individual 1 is destroying everything that Obama helped stabilize and build up.

Of course he can! Despite all his empty braggadocio he really is the best at some things and being pathetically petty is one of them.

And typically, despite his years of being the "You're fired!" tough guy on TV, in real life he's too much of a coward to do it face to face and sends Pompeo to do the deed.
