I’ve seen a lot of excuses for not wanting the wall is the price tag. They say it’s a waste of tax payer money. Fair enough. But what if money or your taxes weren’t an issue and it was paid for by somebody else? Would you support it? Or would you still be against it because the more illegals, the better?

As far as I am concerned, if you want to pay for it, pony up the $ and go ahead and do it.

Sure. I still don't think it will be very effective, but sure.

I would still be against it because it's ugly and unnecessary. All the other more effective remedies are still available and will work better anyway. Remedies that don't include building walls between ourselves and our neighbors.

No. It's ridiculous, and it won't keep people out unless we're willing to shoot them en route. At times I am utterly ashamed to be an American.

Do you have a fence around your yard? Are you against those too?

So do you support illegal immigration?

No, still not for it.

Remove all things that entice people to come/stay here illegally. That will reduce the illegal issue a lot more than a wall. Make illegals scared to death to enter the US, and those who enter legally, to stay past their visa date. Extend nothing to people here illegally, with very, very few exceptions (like emergency room care).

Until they do that, the wall is not going to stop anyone. People still escaped from East Berlin and that was a heavily guarded border.
