IF he existed, and was who the good book portrays him as - then his color hardly matters and I can't help but feel that those involved in this color discussion are completely missing (his) point.
Jesus was Jewish. I doubt he was lily white like a northern European but I also don't really care what color his skin was. The world would be better off if people stopped caring about things like skin color.

I agree that his color really doesn't matter, it is his lessons that do. However, the US government does consider people from that region as white. The original poster is mocking someone for literally using the same identification that the US government uses.
