It's no wonder gun rights vs gun control advocacy is so contentious. What is your position on such labeling?

I'm guessing it's someone who really loves guns as a hobby, the type that meticulously collects, cares for, and displays them in the dining room, loves going hunting or to the range, knows the ins and outs of gun types/parts, etc.

There is a test on the coasts, I hear...

First, put an old unloaded cheapo revolver on a table in front of the test subject.

#1 If the subject recoils in terror and horror, tears up and/or reflexively urinates on the spot, they are not a gun nut and may be considered "safe".

#2 If the subject says "meh" and mentions that Colt or S&W is better the subject is considered "high risk" and needs to be immediately taken into custody and sent to the reeducation camps.

#3 If the subject grabs the gun, checks to make sure it's unloaded himself and offers you $150 for it, they are a gun nut and should be humanely euthanized immediately.

#4 If at any time the subject says the word "Glock", "Sig", "HK", "concealed carry", "tac-light", "magazine", "RMR" or "SBR" the room must immediately be evacuated of personnel, sealed shut with the subject inside and the gas valves turned open.

It's become near impossible to have thoughtful debate on things because the internet makes short gotcha quips and hyperbole the rule of debate.

Shouldn't this have been a multiple vote poll as you of have two things going on with gun enthusiasts and gun control advocates?

I would say that anyone who performs a sexual act too a firearm, or performs a sexual act while thinking of a firearm is a Gun Nut, otherwise I would call them a collector.

I think some people take the word tactical a little to far, for the accessories they want to add to a gun. That only makes them gullible not crazy.
