I've already covered that. 9-11 happened because we refused to mind our own business elsewhere.

The foreign fighters were not defending anything, or anyone, they were there to kill and destroy. These guys are not some freedoms fighters you are trying to paint them to be, and neither were Al Qaeda terrorists.
They have every right to defend their own countries from invaders.

The mass media manipulate minds. Political behavior and beliefs are often entirely independent of the faculty of reason.

The idea that you "don't understand" is an idea propagated by the mass media. Trump's a ________ (Nazi/moron/traitor/other term of opprobrium). Ergo, if you agree with what he's doing, you're a ________ too. It's that simple, and it works to an amazing degree.

I don't believe that. I believe they do help people enforce what they are already believing. How have they manipulated you?

No, that is simply an example of people acting like a child because they lost.

Trump is the Commander in Chief. His goal was defeating ISIS, not training others. In his mind, it is done - as they have suffered great losses and are not doing much fighting right now. He did it the Mattis' way for a year - now he's done.

So the 20% doesn't matter to him - especially since we have been there for well over a decade already, as it is not part of his goal.

That was a great line. Good point!

We haven't "defeated" Isis. If he wants to claim that to bring the troops home, well, whatever, I guess I'm a hypocrite as I'm not going to call him out on his lies.

In defense these are all labels we have pretty much made up to create an "enemy" so it's one lie countering another lie.

Not if the government wants to keep them out. And that's been the problem -- the government wants them here.

The government's priority is diversity uber alles, like General Casey said after the Fort Hood shooting by a Muslim soldier:

"Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.”

Apparently he is an ignorant idiot thinking ISIS is defeated when Pentagon and DoD tell him otherwise.

Even Trump said his goal was to defeat them, but now it seems the goal was only to declare victory and cut and run. Broken promise.

Yes, apparently Trump wants them here. Maybe he figures he can use a terror attack to advance his agenda.
