Is dean right?

Quote:
Wednesday on MSNBC, former Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT) declared that most people do not consider President Donald Trump a “legitimate president” because he does not “represent American values.”
Dean also argued that Trump also does not “represent the values of most people who voted for him.”

“I actually think there’s a dichotomy between what people think of America and what people think of Trump,” Dean stated. “I think people are beginning to understand that Trump does not represent American values. He doesn’t even really represent the values of most people who voted for him. And so, I think people don’t actually really consider Trump a legitimate president. He was obviously elected and all this business, but he does not represent American values.”

He's a DEM so of course, he's right, except he is only speaking for Dems (his base). He simply exchanges PEOPLE for DEMOCRATS so he can sound as if the entire country does not consider Trump a legitimate President. Par for the course since Dems feel that they are the only ones who should have an opinion as everyone else are morons.

The fact is that 78% of Republicans approve of Trump. THAT is a fact, like it or not.

Proof?

I know many Republicans both in the Chicago and Denver areas. None of them support Trump anymore .

Perhaps 78% of your rural Trumpies in Kansas.

Well, those people who do not consider him the legitimate president need to go back to political science 101 and brush up on government, elections, etc.

And these people vote...lol.

And while we are at it, can someone say what the "American values" are? Is there a list somewhere?

His statement is typical "Dem garbage".

DEMOCRATS don't consider Trump a legitimate president. As always, if the person in power doesn't give free phones to them, then they consider him or her illegitimate. Democrats will destroy the legitimacy of the Presidency, and the constitutional system that the office rests on, in order to get a free phone.

I consider Trump a legitimate president. He won. I don't care for him and didn't vote for him, but based on the US election system, he won.

Definitely not legit in the sense of honorably achieving the office. Whether the fault is 50% his or 80% or 30% (other fault goes to Russians, etc. and Comey....one of them legal, the others not)...

Also no legit in the way HE treats the office....same goes for many of his admin.

If HE doesn't act even slightly like a legit leader...well, it would be hard for me to look at him that way.

you need to look back in history, the real history, before making claims like that. we have had a lot of presidents that acted like trump, and some even worse, and they come from BOTH SIDES of the isle.
