"If we pass a gun control law, people will just find ways to get around it."

"If we build a wall, people will just find ways to get around it."

Building a wall will only mean that illegals will have to adapt. It will not stop illegal immigration.

more border patrol agents, more vehicles and advanced technology would be more sufficient. Harsher penalties for those who hire illegals would also help tremendously.

The real question would be if the Dems get their wish and all guns were confiscated tomorrow and then next week it was found that guns were being smuggled across the border into a black market for criminals to use would the Dems finally get serious about border security?

You do realize that the guns are actually being smuggled out of the US to Mexico, don't you?

Quote:
Mexican National Security Commissioner Renato Sales has revealed that 2,000 guns manufactured in the United States are smuggled to Mexican cartels and criminals on a daily basis, significantly increasing violence and unrest in the Central American country.
Mexico says 2,000 US-made guns smuggled to Mexican criminals everyday
