It's January 22nd, 2019, Trump is still president and walls still work.
tRump wants his wall.
What's been working for the past dozen years is the border fence Dubya started in 2006 and Obama continued through his term. It's about 700 miles in length by now.
tRump doesn't talk about "a fence." Matter of fact, he opposes the idea of a fence.
1. It's clear that Trump is not requesting a wall from sea to sea. That was a campaign talking point, and he realized it's not feasible.
What a cute way of putting it. I guess the existence of his marvelous health care plan and his clever plan for vanquishing ISIS were also "campaign talking points".
Next time a Dem President is in, he/she should just declare a national emergency when gun control legislation can't be passed through Congress and then press the military into it. Same thing, right? More people are dying from gun violence and mass shootings, so we if anything it's an even bigger emergency. How's this gonna go over?
National emergency declaration seems to be such a convenient "do-over" when naughty Congress doesn't do what you want. Dontcha think?
There's no emergency on our border? Despite literally thousands of people being murdered in the past decade near our border, not to mention the millions of people flooding into our country illegally during that time as well.
How delusional can you be?
National emergencies were declared by Obama and Bush for far more petty issues.
Aren't the people in that article Mexican people? That's an issue for Mexico. What national emergencies were declared by Obama or Bush? Perhaps those were actual emergencies.
That right there IS an invasion and national emergency. Dims are using illegals to circumvent our political process.
Declaring a national emergency IS within the rights of the president. Building a wall was what he was elected to do.
That’s a big number range. Have problems counting?
Illegals make up <3% of the population. That’s not a national emergency or invasion. That percentage has been declining since 2006. Every country will always have illegals.
No, it isn’t within his rights to declare a national emergency to build a wall. The courts will shut that down.
A majority of the people are against this foolish wall. A majority of people didn’t vote for him. He wasn’t elected to build a wall. Even the GOP doesn’t want the wall, otherwise it would’ve happened the last two years.
If Trump works with others, he's incompetent and can't do anything on his own
If Trump acts alone using powers given to him, he's a dictator
Not. That's what the conservative side is doing, like Coulter and Hannity.

Smuggling drugs through legal entryways into the country isn’t difficult.
Derka durr.
Enough to keep every single city in the country fully supplied, on a consistent basis? Enough to reach the level of epidemic, and ALL totally under the radar?
Cmon! LOL
