Customs And Border Protection Paid A Firm $13.6 Million To Hire Recruits. It Hired 2

Accenture was awarded the contract in November 2017 as a way to help CBP meet the Trump administration's Border Patrol staffing demands — a week after taking office Trump signed an executive order calling for an additional 5,000 Border Patrol and 10,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Border Patrol jobs with the CBP have been notoriously difficult to fill, in large part because of the polygraph exam applicants are required to undergo. The AP reported that 2 out of 3 applicants fail the exam.

It's a $hitty job, no one wants it. They spent 6.8 million per hire and they still think they are going to be able to even fill the current vacancies, let alone expand the numbers? SMH
Sheesh ... What does this say about the quality of the American work force.

Default Another promise kept.

Thank you for doing what we elected you to do, Mr. President.

So even though no part of his wall is yet being built and a much smaller portion of it got approved than he initially asked for and even though his promise was that Mexico would build it, you're ready to give him full credit for his wall and a pat on the back? Interesting

Whereas this is NOT a done deal, and whereas there is a disturbing amensty built into this bill, Trump is indeed quietly already building small parts of the wall, and repairing others, and has been all along. Here is one example. There are more:

https://www.koat.com/article/constru...-year/24682546

It remains to be seen how this is going to turn out. Trump can win big, if the courts rule in his favor, lose big, if they rule against him, or win small if they rule against him but he continues to find money. After all, large parts of the border have natural barriers, such as the Rio Grand River, so a sea-to-sea barrier was NEVER a neccesity.

As for Mxico paying for it, now one really expected it or cares.

Didn’t he say that Mexico would pay for it?

"Another" promise kept? That implies Trump kept a promise already, and I don't know of amy. And in case you haven't noticed, OP, the wall hasn't been built.
