Not a lie - an oversimplification. When tax rates were that high, there were many more loopholes so yes the effective tax rate wasn’t. Nothing wrong with enacting a 70 percent tax rate on every dollar over 10 million in my book though. For over 40 years, the standard of living for middle class Americans has declined while the standard of living for the richest Americans has skyrocketed. Time to reverse the trend.

Ummmm.. you do understand that you cannot count the amount of un captured people that illegally cross over the border ? Head of DHS says 2300 people a day are captured by border patrol . Think about the ones that do not get captured .

So you are suggesting the border patrol is so incompetent that there are more people who sneak in then get caught?

This is why a “wall” is needed . It’s easier to patrol a barrier than a open desert. A barrier stops that from happening .

Regarding CO2, I am a "greenie", but understand we need MORE CO2, NOT LESS. CO2 is a critical gas for a healthy planet; the more CO2, the "greener" the planet becomes. It is postulated that one of the likely "deaths" of earth (prior to our sun depleting) is falling CO2 levels, which would make the planet a wasteland. The "efforts" of the global warming crowd is essentially eco-terrorism and goes to the point of advocating the flooding of toxic chemicals in the atmosphere to "combat" a non-existent problem.

Better question- why even earn one dollar over 10 million in one year? I would LOVE to disincentive that. It would have great benefits for 99 percent of Americans.

In the big picture -- the goal of Border Patrol is to keep people out.
If more people are getting in then getting caught -- that goal is not being realized.

WTH are you talking about? There are thousands breaching our border illegally every month. They aren't flying in here or coming through a legal port of entry with a visa.
Sure the visa over stayers are a problem also but so are the border jumpers. The wall is for the border jumpers, duh. The visa over stayers will just have to be dealt with in a different way.
