It is like a bunch of children making a wish list for Santa. However, the children in this case are insane.

I wonder how many people would work at all in a 70% tax rate system. I certainly would not- what would be the point?

The "green agenda" is hilarious. I am an ardent environmentalist and want everything possible done to maintain a pristine environment. However, the "green" agenda essentially destroyed the economy of Spain, and they were only able to begin the process. All "green" energy is expensive now; the only measures that make sense are wind and hydroelectric. Solar and nuclear have toxin issues with batteries and waste respectively that persists for very long periods of time.

Regarding CO2, I am a "greenie", but understand we need MORE CO2, NOT LESS. CO2 is a critical gas for a healthy planet; the more CO2, the "greener" the planet becomes. It is postulated that one of the likely "deaths" of earth (prior to our sun depleting) is falling CO2 levels, which would make the planet a wasteland. The "efforts" of the global warming crowd is essentially eco-terrorism and goes to the point of advocating the flooding of toxic chemicals in the atmosphere to "combat" a non-existent problem.

What do you think Hillary Clinton was doing? For instance, instead of picking Bernie Sanders to unite the party, she picked someone to be her VP candidate because he was from Virginia.

She was playing the same "system" as Trump, as did every other candidate for the past 200 years. She just did not play it as well as Trump did. Maybe it would have helped if she did not ignore and take certain states for granted.

The stark contrast is always apparent and so easily explained...the GOP now exists to rob the treasury and funnel more money to the top while the Dems actually come to govern and improve the lives of the average American.

I was just counterpointing the OP's "Ban Electoral College" in the title.

Two parties would work if there was a true bipartisan undertone, but there isn't. And call me crazy, but I think Trump has fueled the divide in government more so than any POTUS before him.

Ummmmm.... you can’t “rob”money from the treasury and give it to someone else . The money in the treasury is someone else’s wealth that was robbed from them through taxation. The government does not create wealth or money . It only steals it through taxation .

Trump did embrace the true 'showmanship' of being a politician. He loves a good rally with any kind of chant. He sees those rallies as opportunities to bask in his own greatness.

Problem is -- not everyone goes to a rally. And not everyone that voted for him in the last election voted for him because of that show.

The reasons are many why folks chose not to vote for Clinton/a Democrat. Sure sure -- the loyal base voting Republican no matter what will not be influenced by Trump's shenanigans.....but the base in both parties hold little power on the day of the election. The power lines with the swing voters...and I suspect that even with a 'good economy', there are many who are second guessing their choice in the last election given Trump's approach to problem solving.

As Trump begins to unravel, his supporters are too. All we can do is pray for them.
Doesn’t matter what you think. The veto stamp is warming up.
