After all this 'National Security Issue' stuff floating around.

What security threat is it, that is coming in our Southern border? Sarah H. said, it was 4,000 terrorist. What threat is that, to our nation of the strongest army in the world(currently).
Are they going to declare war against us? Are they bringing in tanks, RPG's, etc.?

Maybe they are going to bring down our Infrastructure? I don't think so. We are doing that ourselves, by not investing in upgrading that system(roads, bridges, power, water).

Could it be 'financial'? If it is, I really don't see that as a security threat. We are plunging ourselves enough into a trillion dollar debt, with no help from others.

Security Threats to the US, as I see it, is like the Korea Nuclear Program, Russia, China, Middle East. Threats like a upper atmosphere nuclear blast(that knock out our power grid and all electronics).

If you show me Stats from Border Patrol, in my book, that is immigration, not a National Security.
So, hold out for the funding from Taxes, and leave the Nation Security Funds for our Military.

Of course, this is only how I look at 'National Security Issues'. OP views may differ.

The most dangerous region in the world is Central America. A quarter of the entire population of Central America now lives in the US illegally. If you don’t think this is a major problem than you are either ignorant or lying. It has massive crime, economic, and social implications.

Crimes are abundant in Detroit, Chicago, and other large metro cities in the US.
Gangs and crimes are 'police' not 'military'

There were no terrorist crossings at the southern border. And can you imagine not hearing about 4000 terrorists being apprehended, arrested, tried and thrown in jail? Trump supporters will buy into anything and it is very sad that a portion of the population has such low functioning reasoning abilities. Sarah Suckabee Sanders is worse than Baghdad Bob.

The national security crisis we need to deal with includes:

1) the opioid drug crisis (smugglers, overdoses),

2) immigrant women and children kidnapping/sex trafficking,

3) medically processing/identifying the increase in immigrants caught and detained

4) building more temporary housing/holding/processing/medical facilities, and

5) screening for MS-13 gang affiliation (or terrorist group)

Let's just throw every problem that the United States has, into a National Security label.
I realize that we also have a 'BIG METH' problem, that is made in the USA.
Throw that one in also.

Most of the folks on the terrorist watchlist come into America via plane. A minority of them come from the border to the north of us. NBC reports that six were detained at the southern border. As Sarah Sanders said, they came by land, air and sea. Most of them by air. (Any by sea?) So if they come by air, now is a good chance to get through the TSA with the shutdown going. I pray that does not happen

I just want to elaborate, I am for the Border upscaling.

But, I am not for holding the United States Hostage, for ultimately not getting something quick, fast, now through due process, then using a distraction method of extracting $$$$ from the National Security Fund.
