If you like free libraries, fire department services, police/sheriff services, public schools; free parks, etc., then you are enjoying the benefits of "socialism."
Socialism is not a "bad thing." It is weird how people are so scared of it.
That's not a sensible question because you can't have 100% socialism. You use a bit of socialism mixed in with a decent amount of capitalism so that it works out. If you used 100% socialism, the place would go broke. If you use 100% capitalism, the rich get richer and there is too much cut throat competition and the less talented and the less lucky lose out. You can't just have one of the other.
You are free to pick your own ism as long as it doesn't involve me.
That's where all systems fail except the natural state of humans - capitalism.
Actually, if you study any aboriginal peoples, especially those who are nomadic, you will find out that capitalism is an alien concept. Whatever is good for the group is the highest and most noble course of action.
No, because it's unacceptable to sacrifice anyone's rights in the name of the collective. Figure out non-violent ways to solve societal problems, even if it's more difficult that way.

Agree. So long as you dont mind being forced at gunpoint to pay for stuff you dont need/use, its the best system around.

Capitalism is the default setting of a human being. If individuals choose to be in communes that's their right. As noted, once the weapon is pulled out and violence is threatened to contribute to the common good...that's where I have a problem.
Like driving on maintained roads and having stoplights that work? Who do you think pays for that? Do you buy groceries at the grocery store? You’re aware that the government subsidizes farmers so you’re not paying exorbitant prices, right? Send your kids to public school? Go to the library? Enjoy those streetlights that you didn’t pay for? Use public transportation?
Hard to say. Do you mean Marxism like Venezuela, or Democratic Socialism like most of Scandinavia?
I despise socialism of all kinds. But especially taking away from the haves and giving it to the have nots.
Whether anyone can or cannot pay for a doctors visit is not my problem morally or financially.
