Fertility rates for all groups have plummeted. White American fertility has now dropped to Europe and East Asian levels. Black fertility at 1.8, Hispanic 2.0.

A big problem for the US is that, due to the structure of Social Security, this accelerates the likelihood of soc. sec. going bust.
Millennials can't afford to start a family, they can barely afford themselves as an individual. Add the millions of others. Lack of secure, full time employment especially for those without college degree. Go to any small town, the jobs there are almost all retail, grocery, restaurant, call centers, insurance agency or truck driving along with nursing. Everything has erratic work schedules or low pay. Teaching, accounting, or any other real jobs require college degrees, which takes time and extra debt. Walmart is a top employer in many places. Big cities and their metros have more jobs but they all require college and cost of living is much higher.
