Maybe because they are consumed with Trump Hate.

Or maybe they just don't care about the American citizens who have been murdered by illegals.
They did back in 2017. Trump agreed and the reneged,

Moreover, GOP had two years to pass funding for the wall and did not. And do not bother with the fallacy they needed dem votes in the senate. They could have used reconciliation. Why didn't they? Because some GOP are against the wall

Get a clue. Many businesses want illegals for cheap labor. That is the root of the problem. Never hear the right bang the drum for E-Verify.

It was a comparison to bring out Pelosi's hypocricy, duh. Comprehensive plan? You mean amnesty, right? No thanks! That will just bring more illegal aliens to our border to get on the next one and Americans need their jobs back.

How many times does it have to be repeated to you that the GOP didn't have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate before you stop making idiotic comments about the wall not being funded in the last two years? They were given $1.3 billion awhile back so WTH are you talking about?

We know all about the greedy employers who hire illegal aliens so why even mention that? E-verify was presented by the Republicans awhile back and it was the Democrats that voted it down (link provided numerous times in here). Trump has e-verify in his 2019 budget so you were saying?

Not all illegals are coming here for work, thus the wall. Now, are you still going to repeat yourself over and over agaiin as a member of the Parrot Club in here?

How many times does it need to be pointed out they could have used reconciliation.

No, what happened is that the Democrats didn't offer the money that Trump was asking for and they wouldn't put an end to chain migration and the visa lottery as he requested either.

Sure, some Republicans didn't want the wall but not the majority. It was mostly the Democrats that didn't. Get your facts straight.

All it takes is some. And dems were for E-Verify is it also came with a DACA solution. Without that DACA would be decimated.

And that is the thing. Trump wants wall money but not an overall solution. He has made this political.

I'm not familiar with what that means but I know that it has been addressed in here also by another poster.

It means Senate GOP needed fifty votes + Pence by using budget reconciliation rules to bypass filibuster. They used it for Gorusch

Giving the DACAs amnesty is not a solution. It sets a precedence that all you have to do is drag your kids over the border and they are home free. We don't need the competition for jobs and resources from 1.8 million DACAs either and it's also rewarding their parents for bringing them here illegally. Why should e-verify hedge on allowing the DACAs to remain here? It should be a clean bill. Trump was wrong in even considering that.

Dems Daca included a twilight provision so no it does not set a precedent. E-Verify would affect DACA as immediately all DACA could now work or be easily deported.

A clean bill would affect all parts of immigration. Not just one silly "Build that Wall" meme.
