Your boy Trump has no respect for the Constitution, and you seem to have no problem with that. He makes up his own rules and laws.
Not one single politician at the federal level has respect for the Constitution, and partisans on each side of the aisle have zero problem when it is their side making up their own rules and laws.
Get that through your head. Not one single politician serving anywhere at the federal level cares about the US Constitution beyond pondering how they can circumvent it as needed to amass and extend their own power. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
The Constitution constrains them in favor of the States and the People. Tyrants do not like constraints on their power. They hate that crap, in point of fact. So they sell you, gullible rube you are, on how lifting those constraints and giving them more power over you will help you. It's for your benefit they seek more power, these selfless altruists.
The wee Bobby Francis is just making his case for what they all want. But make no mistake - they ALL want what he wants. He just figures his flashy smile, good looks and fine Irish genes will help sell the idea to all ye laddies and lassies. Party does not matter. The power they all become twisted and corrupted by doesn't care what party they belong to, it consumes their souls and rots their brains the same either way.
That's why instead of rewarding that rot and corruption with power, we should be seeking to take more of it away from them. ALL OF THEM.
Tearing something up is just another way of saying scrapping or ditching something, although this might be an English thing rather than American.
No, it’s quite commonly used here, too.
I believe when it comes to the topic of politics, some Americans choose to hold people very closely to their word in a very literal sense, regardless of the common use of slang such as “tearing it up”, which most of us understand just fine. There’s always a pedantic or two in the crowd who will glom onto a statement like that and never let it go.
Those were "amended" via the YUGE principle that the Constitution can be amended.
Want to try again? Or in reality, like usual, you got nothing but a meme?
But that's the point, isn't it? If there were things that have been amended over the years because things have changed, couldn't there possibly be more? You're not even open to that possibility. Frankly, I find that to be a very UNAmerican view.
Tell us more about this "Tyler Durden" you seem to be so attached to.
So you can't name one single outdated and irrelevant unamended principle of the US Constitution, a document which you claimed is full of them in defense of Beta.
Is that correct?
Tyler Durden? LAWL. If you really understood it, you'd be avoiding that too. Here's a top tip: It's not Zerohedge.

Nope.
Your anger is clouding your judgement.
Who is "Tyler Durden" and why do you keep posting his bogus articles as if they were somehow valid?

The wee Robert Francis isn't talking about amendments. That process is too long and arduous and subject to gridlock...by design. He wants what they all want - a politician friendly version that makes amassing and extending their power easier, faster and less subject to anyone really knowing what they did. That way, says the wee Bobby, they can be "more responsive to a changing world" and all for our own good, of course.
Go back in history and find every totalitarian dictator, warlord or despot, and then examine what led to them being granted the unlimited power that fueled the tyranny that followed. You will see the same saccharine platitudes about the changing world, need for responsive government, more evolved society, etc that the O'Rourke laddie is peddling.
Outside of conquest and occupation, when tyrants gain unlimited power, it isn't because they simply took it. No no, in virtually every case throughout history, the people they terrorized GAVE them that unlimited power because the thought they were getting utopia in return. It is the ultimate example the real world has of the Faustian Bargain. And it never, ever works out for anyone except the Devil.
